More Information on our Services

Implants: Implants can improve your oral health. When you lose teeth you also lose the supporting bone. Implants interact naturally with the bone and gums encouraging long-term oral benefit in addition to appearance. Dr. Hernandez has years of experience in the placement of dental implants. Ask us how dental implants can improve the quality of your life.

Wisdom Teeth Management
An impacted wisdom tooth can damage neighboring teeth or become infected. If it is determined that a wisdom tooth needs to be removed, we can safely remove the tooth while making the process as painless as possible through the use of appropriate anesthesia. Dr. Hernandez has a great deal of experience in wisdom teeth removal in a caring and comfortable manner.

Anesthesia: We want your procedure to be as pleasant as possible and offer local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, I-V and general anesthesia so you can choose the one that makes you most comfortable. Dr. Hernandez has extensive training in general anesthesia. His experience combined with a state-of-the-art monitoring system ensures your safety and comfort.

The Referral Process

Your general dentist will establish an overall dental treatment plan.  If that treatment plan includes any oral surgery, the general dentist will then recommend or refer you to our office.  You or the referring office can contact our office via phone, e-mail, fax or in person to setup a consultation appointment.  The consultation appointment is an important first step since it establishes the patient-doctor relationship, as well as providing you with information concerning the surgical treatment plan, anesthetic options and insurance coverage.  At the consultation appointment, in most instances, the surgery will then be scheduled.  Following the surgery, there will be a follow-up appointment to insure appropriate healing.

The goal of this referral protocol is to provide an efficient and information-rich process by which the patient experienced is enhanced.

If you have a referral from your dentist and would like to schedule an initial consultation, send us a message with your name, phone and e-mail or fax and tell us how we should contact you. We will reply within 24 hours of receiving your request. You can also email us at info@hernandezoralsurgery.com or call us during normal business hours of 8am-5pm at (210) 408-7182.
